Seamus King has been fighting dragons and monsters in his dreams and imagination since before he can remember. He grew up on Tolkien and Alexander and Lewis, and will always be grateful for them opening the doors to faraway places in his mind.
Over time, he began to develop a fondness for horror, especially the kind of pulp detective horror you might find in Lovecraftian lore and games like Arkham Horror. This has become an important part of his writing and one of his favorite genres to read and world-build within.
In addition to writing, Seamus has spent more than 20 years as a freelance editor, working in academia, fiction, and technical writing. His specialty is crisp, clear writing, and has enjoyed great success. He also works as a Freelance Web Developer, with a great deal of specific work in making sure websites are accessible for those with disabilities.
Seamus attended Middle Georgia College, Fordham University, and the University of Georgia, and now lives in the beautiful Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. In his spare time, he enjoys hitting people in the head with sticks (Hooray SCA!) as well as honoring the ancient and time-honored tradition of MUSHing (Text-based roleplaying forever).
